| Mission: | The American Institute for Cancer Research is a national, non-profit organization dedicated to furthering the knowledge about the relationship between diet and cancer. To date, the Institute has funded over $55 million in research on the role of nutrition in cancer prevention and cancer treatment. AICR's education programs have helped millions of Americans learn to make the dietary and lifestyle changes that lower cancer risk. |

b) a national hotline that is staffed to answer questions about diet, nutrition and cancer, prevention, referrrals to other resources, and general support for those who are touched by cancer issues.
c) an internet website that offers the latest research news and knowledge, practical advise for a health life, and healthy recipes.
d) public service announcements in over 200 media markets.
e) "Healthy Features" newspaper columns and other relavent news that is distributed to the press.
