| Mission: | Austin Community Gardens provides community gardening opportunities to everyone in order to:
* promote community food security
* build community relationships
* encourage the responsible use of natural resources
* disseminate information on sustainable food production. |
| Program or Service: | ACG offers community gardens, youth gardening education, demonstration food production mini-farms, horticulture therapy, and workshops on sustainable growing methods. |
| Outcomes: | ACG serves the entire Austin community through by creating more green spaces in the City, increasing the amount of fresh, nutritious and local foods grown in and around Austin, and by educating people about where their foods comes from and how it is grown. |
