| Mission: | Produce and promote outstanding opera to entertain, enrich and educate the Central Texas community |
| Program or Service: | Professional opera company offering four productions in 20 performances rhroughout the year and associated educational programs for students and adults. The company also operates a community music school offering classes and private insttuction in all instruments for all ages and all skill levels. Scholarships are widely available to make the school's offerings available to a diverse population. |
| Outcomes: | 30,276 Central Texas students participated in ALO education programs. 17,292 of these students were from AISD, while 9,020 were from East Austin Schools.
Created co-production agreements with other Opera companies. Partnering with Chicago Lyric Opera, Aida was a national multi-company co-production venture and success. |
