| Outcomes: | This past year, Ballet Austin enjoyed record-breaking crowds at our performances and reached an unprecedented 50,000 children in the 28 school districts of Central Texas. Through educational school performances and innovative programming, Ballet Austin worked with pre-school through high school seniors in reinforcing Texas state curriculum, and fostering an understaning and enjoyment of the arts.
Ballet Austin is commited to making the Austin arts accessible to ALL the people of Central Texas. Through performances, educational programs, collaborative partnering and touring to smaller Texas communities, and an Academy of over 800 students, Ballet Austin reaches over 100,000 people annually. Our goal is to preserve and evolve our classical art from and through innovation, to share the wonderful stories, music, literature and messages of these great ballets with our community. Collaborations with Austin area non-profit agencies such as the Capital Area Food Bank and their 500 member agencies as well as with other arts organizations, provide an expanded reach into our community. Our highest commitment is to sharing excellence. |
