| Mission: | With a long tradition of service to Austin and it's neighborhoods, the mission of Bethany Christian Church is to be a mature, healthy, full functional part of the Body of Christ striving to make all persons welcome and offering them the gospel of Jesus Christ. Bethany Christian Church offers the gospel through: * the nurturing and development of good Christian education, * a generous attitude in our lives and in our stewardship of time, talent, and teasures, * a compassionate and forgiving attitude toward others and ourselves, * regular worship of God with other members of the body, * concern for all of God's family in the world, and * participating in the organizations and ministries of the Christian church Disciples of Christ. |
