Charity Description
Mission: To furnish a positive natural for children and families with special needs to enjoy the beauties of nature and participate in outdoor activites.
Program or Service: CRF maintains an outdoor retreat located on the north shore of Lake Travis. We work directly with other Central Texas community service organizations that utilize the facilites for outdoor receational programs.
Outcomes: Outdoor recreation experiences play an important role in helping children learn new skills and increase self-confidnece and self-esteem. To date we have worked with groups from the following organizations: Austin Children's Shelter, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Austin Children's Hospital, Highland Lakes Boys and Girls Club, Candlelighter's Childhood Cancer Foundation, For The Love of Christi and others.
