| Mission: | The CAF is a 501(c)(3) organization representing business, government, academia, environmental, and community interests throughout Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. The mission of the CLEAN AIR Force is to coordinate and conduct air quality planning and education activities in Central Texas. The CAF focuses both on motivating the citizens of this region to take actions to reduce air pollutions and maintain healthy air, and on advising responsible government entities on air quality issues. |
| Program or Service: | The CLEAN AIR Force sponsors a number of events and campaigns to encourage Central Texans to think about they air they breathe, and help keep it clean. Programs include the Ozone Action Day Alert Program, Clean Air Partners Program, Adopt-A-School Bus Program, Electric Lawnmower Discount Program, Car Care for Clean Air Day, and a 5K Fun Run for Clean Air. |
