Imagine Enterprises creates opportunity for people with disabilities and other disadvantaged populations to become valued in their community through employment and support services.
Program or Service:
Texas Employment Project - training and consultation on employment
Imagine Works - TWC and TRC funded direct support services
School to Careers - training and tech. assistance on inclusion of students with disabilities in activities.
Outcomes:
Eight demonstration sites in Texas will increase capacity to serve people with disabilities in employment.
118 TANF recipients will receive employment and retention services in Galveston, Brazoria and Matagorda counties.
10 school districts will include students with disabilities in school to work activities.
30 businesses will participate in the Business Leadership Networks established in Austin and Houston.
20 professionals will attend Steward gathering on supported employment.
