| Mission: | "Healing families...Changing Lives |
| Program or Service: | We are the only non-profit counseling agency that serves the entire Judicial District as well as other areas outside out specific area if necessary. We provide counseling servivces for all types of issues. We work with children, adolecents, and adults. We offer individual, family and group counseling. We offer several spealized groups. The BIPP(Batterers Intervention Prevention Project) We provide this for both men and women.It teaches life skills like anger management, communication skills, etc. We also provide a juvenile sex offender group.We are in the process of adding drug and alcohol assessments and classes to our programing and a Teen Opportunity Program for teens in Llano and San Saba Counties.We will begin this week with a life skills program in the Burnet County Jail. |
| Outcomes: | A for stated above we serve the 33rd Judicial District, which includes Blanco, Burnet, Llano and San Saba Counties. Our success rate is 85 in our BIPP program.There has been no recidivision from any of the clients from Llano County. The Marble Falls Police Chief reports less domestic violence calls in his department, and the issuance of emergerency protective orders is down. |
| Events Hosted: | We have hosted several fundraising events. We work with the chamber with many of their projects. We hosted a Valentine Dance, and raffles that are matched by our local Walmart store. |
| How to Donate: | Donations are taken from individuals, businesses, churches, foundations, etc. We also receive funding from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and local government entities. We receive some money from private foundation and corporations. |
