Charity Description
Mission: Vision:
A community where no child is hurt, hungry, alone or rejected, and where all children and youth believe they are loved, respected and treated with dignity.

Mission:
To mobilize our community to coordinate, strengthen, and develop resources and relationships so that our children and youth become caring, capable and resilient individuals.
Program or Service: ASAP-After School Action Program--after school program three days/week in Georgetown's three middle schools serving 500 children each year--program offered on a sliding fee scale tracking GISD's free and reduced lunch program.
Bridges To Growth Resource Room--resource room and toy lending library for parents, grandparents, and childcare providers--serving 750 Georgetown families through toy lending, parenting classes, daycare provider training courses, parent resources, laminating and die cutting services.
Youth Leadership-provides leadership opportunities and service learning activities to 200-300 Georgetown middle school and high school youth each year (named national Jostens Our Town Award winner for youth development).
Kid City--summer food and enrichment program for 75 low income students in K-5th Grades each summer.
Collaborative Leader--leads an inclusive community planning process with 45 other service agencies offering programs for children, youth and families to identify gaps in local services, action plan and locate resources to fill the gaps (called our Board of Advisors).
Healthy Neighborhoods--grassroots neighborhood programs in three low income neighborhoods in Georgetown that work with youth, adults and local police to create safe, caring neighborhoods, leadership and service opportunities for neighborhood youth, and support for local police neighborhood interaction program.
Outcomes: Outlined in section above. Brought in more than $1.7 in resources to the community for programs serving children, youth and families. Many times, The Georgetown Project is not even the beneficiary of the resources or funding, but leads the collaborative planning process to apply and writes the applications or grants.

Annual Hoops Tournament benefitting youth projects in the community.
Annual Dinner Parties Fundraiser.
