| Mission: | ATA was created for the charitable and educational purpose of representing,protecting and rehoming animals.This includes offering free or low cost sterilization and vaccination. |
| Program or Service: | ATA operates Austin's only nonprofit low cost spay/neuter clinic to provide affordable sterilization and vaccinatons to Austin's low income pet owners. |
| Outcomes: | As of October 2001, ATA has spayed/neutered 26,500 dogs and cats. ATA's Bi-monthly Wellness Clinic has seen over 20,000 animals.This clinic provides rabies and other vaccinations plus diagnostic testing for heartworm in dogs and feline leukemia/FIV testing in cats, heartworm preventation and flea prevention. These services are available to anyone but we are located in a low income area to serve the needs of this community.

| Events Hosted: | Animal Trusttes operates 4PAWS (Program for Animals Without Shelter.) This is a monthly "wellness clinics" to serve the pets of Austin's homeless citizen. These clinics are set on site at the shelters so that transportation is not a problem. |
