| Mission: | Austin Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to put our faith in action by building affordable, quality houses with families in need to eliminate poverty houseing, one family at a time. |
| Program or Service: | AHFH offers zero-interest home loans to qualified low-income families and creates a partnership to build that family a new home. A budget and homeownership education component is provided to each approved applicant as well as referral resources for other social service needs. |
| Outcomes: | Austin Habitat has one outcome for each family we serve; to build with them a new home and see them installed in that home as competent, independent homeowners. |
