| Charity Description |
| Mission: | The mission of Bat Conservation International is to preserve and restore bats and their habitats throughout the world.
We are committed to:
Teaching humankind about the importance of bats and eradicating ignorance and superstition about these gentle and essential animals through education;
Preserving critical bat habitats, ranging from rain forests and deserts, and encouraging others to join in our conservation efforts;
Advancing scientific knowledge about bats and the ecosystems that rely on them, through research that determines the status of these animals, documents their values, and assesses their needs.
Facilitating win-win solutions for bats and people, using a non-confrontational approach. |
