| Mission: | The Samaritan Center for Counseling and Pastoral Care is a not-for-profit interfaith counseling center whose ministry is committed to providing professional counseling, consultation, and educational service which affirm the spiritual dimension of life without regard to one's ethnic origin, economic status, age or religious affiliation. |
| Program or Service: | Counseling for individuals, couples, and families: educational seminars for churches, civic groups, employers, and other community organizations; training opportunities for counselors and clergy, as well as assistance to congregations and other organizations who wish to develop care giving resources among their members; spiritual direction. |
| Outcomes: | Help clients process from pain and crisis through faith-based counseling to reach greater personal acceptance and inner peace. Education, consultation and counseling to improve the quality of life through a range of services for individuals and groups. Populations are served by the Center in Austin, San Marcos and Round Rock. |
| Events Hosted: | Annual Banquet, Minister's Cup Golf Tournament, Silent Samaritan (women helping women), trainings and workshops for care-givers. |
