| Mission: | CWFI's mission is to preserve the natural existence of the Endangered Gray Wolf through our educational seminars,educational programs, observation
research, & preseration. |
| Program or Service: | Through CWFI's educational programs we have been able to introduce hundreds of people to the Gray Wolf at public schools, private schools, Boy & Girl Scouts, 4-H Groups, libraries, and other facilities. CWFI has educational programs and workshops of the wolves at their facility in Dale, Texas. |
| Outcomes: | CWFI educational literature will be provided in Spanish, Braille, and Talking Book upon request. |
| Events Hosted: | Brooke Elementary from Austin, Texas came to CWFI Educational Facility for a field trip to learn about the Gray Wolf. CWFI has received recognition and awards from
Brooke Elementary, Scoutarama, Boy Scouts of America, Crowe's Nest Farm, Eanes Elementary, Popham Elementary, The Isley School, St. Edwards University, Laura Welch Bush Elementary. CWFI has received Grants, and In House Gifts from Austin Community Foundation, AAMCO Transmission, Computer Management company, Cingular Wireless, Camp Mabry (Lt. Col. Allen, Sgt. Major Horsely, & Major Adkinson), Coastal Banc, Mr. Tex Elliot, Harcourt Corporation, H.E.B; LCRA Employees United Charities, Metalink Fence & Supply, McCoy's Corporation, Motorola, Roland Fence & Lancscaping, San Marcos Youth Service Bureau, Sirloin Stockade, Texas Parks & Wildlife, United Parcel Service (UPS); and work very close with Travis County Juvenile Probation to help children redirect their engery towards helping their community instead of drugs and crime. |
